What We Do

Community Association Law

West Huntley Gregory represents large and small homeowners associations in the central Rockies. Our many years of experience in handling virtually every type of problem faced by homeowners associations, and a thorough knowledge and understanding of the complex laws which apply to the governance of such associations, allow our attorneys to advise and represent our clients effectively, efficiently, and with the expertise required by Colorado law. The Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act, which applies to the vast majority of homeowners associations, is extremely complex and imposes stringent and technical legal requirements impacting the manner in which associations conduct their business and make decisions.

Services we provide to our homeowners association clients include:

  • Preparation and amendment of declarations, covenants, bylaws, rules and regulations, policies, and all other documents required to maintain legal compliance under the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act.
  • Advising and assisting associations with the collection of delinquent assessments.
  • Advising and assisting associations with the enforcement of their governing documents.
  • Attending membership and board of director meetings and advising boards with respect to the myriad of issues presented at such meetings.
