Carime assists clients with construction liens and contracts, real estate and land use, business, real property development, leases, homeowners associations, and a variety of transactional matters. With her multi-cultural background and Spanish fluency, she serves and welcomes clients who prefer to do business in Spanish. Carime is actively pursuing an LL.M. in real property development.
As a native of Colombia, Carime learned quickly how to adapt to new challenges when she moved to south Florida at an early age. Carime lived throughout the State of Florida where she attended Florida State University and Ave Maria School of Law. Soon after graduating from law school Carime and her husband set out to Colorado on a new adventure. Moving to Colorado and being near the beautiful Rocky Mountains was a dream of theirs since their first visit in 2007 on a spring break snowboarding trip.
Since her move to Colorado, Carime has worked with construction contractors, real estate entrepreneurs and small business owners with preparing business documents, advising with respect to a variety of business matters, assisting them with contract negotiations and advocating for them in disputes. Carime has also represented individuals and businesses in resolving tax delinquencies at the county, state and federal level.
Carime enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and three huskies. In her spare time, she enjoys helping and learning about building custom cabinetry and general home improvement with her husband.
